Audit with a defence mindset

Year-end sign-off is not enough. The records must survive scrutiny.

Our manufacturing audits focus on the evidence, reconciliations and transaction logic that Income-tax and GST officers are likely to test later.

That means unresolved mismatches, weak documentation and aggressive positions are identified before they become additions, interest or penalty exposure.

01

Tax-defensible records

Ledger positions are connected to agreements, invoices, statutory returns and management explanations.

02

GST reconciliations

Turnover, ITC, e-invoices, e-way bills, job work and vendor compliance are examined for material gaps.

03

Manufacturing evidence

Inventory, scrap, consumption, yield, capex, tooling and related-party transactions receive operating context.

04

Scrutiny readiness

Material judgements and unusual transactions are documented so responses can be prepared from an existing trail.

Tax planning for owners

Plan how profit is earned, retained and distributed.

Family-owned manufacturers need more than return filing. The structure should support expansion, succession, promoter cash flow and lawful tax efficiency.

Company or LLP structureReview operating entities, investment holdings and whether a new LLP or group structure has commercial merit.
Profit-distribution planningCompare dividend, remuneration, bonus, rent, interest and LLP profit-share routes within the applicable law.
Succession and ownershipPlan family entry, exits, settlements, buy-outs, trusts or holding arrangements with tax and control consequences mapped.

Start with the real issue

Bring the tax, audit, finance or valuation question that needs senior judgement.

An initial discussion can identify the facts, immediate risk, required records and the right scope of work.

Engagements are accepted after considering scope, competence, professional independence, conflicts, applicable law and regulatory requirements. Tax planning is undertaken only within lawful commercial substance.
